QUNO works in partnership with London-based Quaker Peace and Social Witness (QPSW), which has an office in Gulu, Northern Uganda. QPSW Gulu combines local initiatives with regional and national concerns. The office’s overarching mandate is to support local efforts for peace. It works closely with the Acholi Religious Leaders Peace Initiative (ARLPI). QUNO is working with QPSW to create a direct pipeline of information from the ground to the international policy level.

Alternative to Violence Program (AVP) in Uganda. QUNO has recently begun working with George Walumoli and Vickie Nakuti from AVP-Mbale, who have been conducting AVP training working shops in Northern Uganda with the US-based African Great Lakes Initiative (AGLI).
